Head, HR, Admin and Communications | Transport Services Ltd (TSL),
Kelechi is the Head, Human Resources, Administration and Communications at Transport Services Ltd (TSL), Nigeria, the largest Indigenous Transport and Logistics company in Nigeria. She joined TSL in January 2018 from Novartis Africa, where she was the Head of Novartis Africa Corporate University, a role she took on in November 2015.
Prior to this, she worked with Unilever Nigeria & West Africa for 7 years as the Leadership Development Manager for West Africa responsible for end to end Talent Management and subsequently as HR Business Partner to the Sales and Marketing Departments. In addition to this portfolio, she led the Employer Brand Strategy for Central Africa from 2011 to 2013.
She also worked as Project Manager, at MTN Nigeria; Africa’s foremost Telecommunications Company, where she managed the project portfolio of the Human Resource Division of the organisation for 15 months.
Kelechi worked for 5 years as a consultant with ReStraL Ltd, a Nigerian Consulting firm. Her interests in, talent management, strategy, business transformation, content development, Leadership Development and training have been used extensively in her work with Civil Societies in Nigeria from September 2006 to March 2008; acting as Consultant / Facilitator for DFID / World Bank Consultative process on ‘Improving Better Service Delivery in Nigeria’ as well as Lead Facilitator on the Debate to Action programme, with the British Council and World Bank.
Kelechi holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and an M.Sc. in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is a pioneer alumnus of the British Council / LEAD InterAction Leadership programme in Nigeria. She also served as a Mentor for the Vital Voices Pan-African Leadership Initiative for Women and Girls in 2007.
She is currently a Member of the Expert Commission: Talent Development for FondationBotnar, one of the top 3 foundations in Switzerland. She is also the Chairman of the Board, Street Project Foundation, a social enterprise focused on youths living under the poverty line. In her personal time, Kelechi expresses herself through singing and creative writing. She is married to the love of her life, Adewale.
