Tominiyi Oni is the Chief Human Resource Officer of the TGI Group, a multinational conglomerate headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria with operations in across Africa, Middle East & Asia. Founded in 1980, the Group currently has over 16 member companies with diverse interests. He has +20 years’ HR, process improvement and change management experience across different sectors of the economy in management consulting, nonprofit, oil & gas production, manufacturing, FMCG, and public sectors of Africa (Nigeria/Ghana/CIV/Benin Republic); Europe (Norway, Netherlands, UK) ; Middle East (UAE); and Asia (India, Thailand, Vietnam) economies.
Prior to joining TGI Group, ‘Tominiyi was Human Resource Director at FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc (FCW) where he led the people and organisation transformation of the company from 2013 to 2019. He was also one of the global facilitators of the FCW’s international leadership development programs and the Future Leaders program. Before joining FCW, he had worked with various organisations including Securities and Exchange Commission, PwC, Shell, Diageo, and British Council. He holds first and second degrees in Psychology from the University of Lagos and an honorary Doctorate degree from Escae Benin University in Leadership and Management. ‘Tominiyi is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Human Capital Institute of USA (HCI), Chief Learning Officers’ Business Intelligence group, Mentoring, Coaching and Development Institute, Fellow Chartered Institute of Management Consultants and Board member Institute of Mentoring.
He’s married to Foluke, a healthcare professional and the best wife and mother in the world, and together they have brought up three grown up children (Segun, Teniola and Afolabi).
Tominiyi loves farming, guard dogs and taking long walks.
