Emmanuel Michael (EM) is an internationally recognised HR executive, leadership coach, keynote speaker, author, and thought leader with over three decades of leadership experience spanning engineering, information technology, hospitality, financial services, and strategic human resources.

He currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Eko Hotels & Suites, one of Africa’s premier hospitality brands, where he leads the organisation’s people strategy, talent management, organisational development, employee experience, and culture transformation initiatives. Known for his practical, business-focused approach, Emmanuel helps organisations build high-performing cultures, develop exceptional leaders, and position HR as a strategic driver of business success.

Emmanuel recently concluded his tenure as Chair of the HRCI Certification Council (USA), having previously served as Vice Chair and Council Member. During his seven years of service, he contributed to advancing global HR standards and professional certification. He continues to support the profession as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with HRCI and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).
