Habiba Balogun, LDS, is an Organization Effectiveness Consultant, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Specialist, Certified Facilitator, Trainer and Leadership Coach with over 28 years of leadership and management experience.
She is multilingual, speaking 6 languages, and has worked with local and global organisations in the public, private, and development sectors on 4 continents, in both Anglophone and Francophone West Africa.
Habiba is an executive of Learning & Development Network International, a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers’ Business and Government Relations Group, a Trustee of International Coaching Federation Nigeria, a fellow of the Aspen Leadership Network, the Africa Leadership Initiative West Africa, and the Africa Board Fellowship.
She has served as a director on several NGO and social entrepreneurship boards and has served as leadership and professional skills development faculty for top executive development institutions including Lagos Business School, Healthcare Leadership Academy, National Institute of Police Studies, World Bank Future of Health Program, and several Financial Institution Training Academies.
Her extensive research in organization development and peacebuilding has positioned her as an authority on governance, performance improvement, and organisational culture interventions. She is the publisher of a national 2020 study on Harassment and Discrimination in Nigerian Workplaces, and a 2023 book on Talent Management in the New Normal.
Habiba holds a BA Honours in French and Italian from the University of London, and holds an MA in Organizational Management from George Washington University, including Leadership Coaching and Team Facilitation. She has also attended executive education in strategic leadership at Harvard Business School.
