His professional background combines executive HR leadership, economic research, organisational advisory, academic engagement, and professional community building. Across his career, he has held senior positions including Chief Economist at BusinessDay Media, Research Fellow at Lagos Business School, Head of Human Resources at Eterna Plc, Group Head at Global Accelerex Holdings, Head of Employee Relations at Ikeja Electric, Head of HR at Emotion Advertising, and other leadership roles across corporate and consulting environments.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Dr. Adeosun contributes to executive and professional education as a faculty member at Rome Business School and Program Director for International Human Resources Management and Project Management. He is also a resource person to Lagos Business School and other premium training and consulting institutions. His broader contribution to professional development includes founding HR Mentorship, a network of over 8,000 HR professionals, and building a recognised HR-focused YouTube platform (OluyemiAdeosun) with over 700 training webinars.
He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Lagos, an MSc in Economics, an MBA from Obafemi Awolowo University, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Ilorin. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (MCIPM) and served three terms as an elected Governing Council member of CIPM. He also holds internationally recognised HR certifications including SPHRi and GPHR. He is a member of the LDNI. Further reflecting his breadth of contribution, he is a Distinguished Toastmaster, a certified career coach, a FATE Institute Senior Research Fellow, Research Fellow in the Economics Department.
