Theo Adegor is a distinguished executive and transformational leader with over three decades of cross-sector experience spanning manufacturing, management consulting, the oil and gas industry, and public service. His accomplished career has been shaped by progressive leadership roles in Nigeria Breweries Plc, the consulting sector, Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), and the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), where he has consistently driven organizational transformation, operational excellence, and workforce development.
Drawing on a rich blend of private and public sector experience, Theo possesses deep expertise in strategic leadership, human capital development, organizational effectiveness, talent management, enterprise learning, change management, and institutional capacity building. His leadership philosophy is anchored on developing people, strengthening institutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
As the pioneer Group Director, Workforce Development Group at the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Theo provides strategic direction for enterprise-wide learning and development, workforce capability enhancement, leadership development, talent acceleration, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. He leads the design and implementation of innovative human capital strategies that enhance employee performance, build institutional resilience, and support the Service’s strategic objectives.
He has played a pivotal role in driving transformative workforce initiatives across the Service, including the implementation of competency-based learning frameworks, digital learning ecosystems, leadership and executive development programmes, succession planning, and structured capability-building interventions. These initiatives have significantly strengthened organizational capacity and advanced NRS’s vision of becoming a world-class revenue administration.
Widely respected for his strategic insight, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to people development, Theo continues to champion innovative learning solutions and institutional transformation initiatives that build a future-ready, agile, and high-performing workforce.
